Good Morning! I pray all is well with you. The reason I am writing is not to voice my opinion. As we all know at this time in history, there are many voices speaking their opinions. I have asked the Lord what He is saying about all of this, the corona virus epidemic. He has given me some God moments where He has shared His heart with me. I wanted to tell you a few of these things in hopes it would bring encouragement and give a new perspective to the matter. I hope you will hang in there and read to the end because I believe the ending will definitely encourage you with a prophetic word from the Lord.
Gal. 5:1 " Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
II Timothy 1:7 " For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
II Cor. 10:4-5 " For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal ( of this natural fleshly world), but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing ( fear and corona virus) that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (peace, victory, blessing, abundant life- not death), bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
When the plagues came on the Egyptians, did it come to the Israelites? --No! When the plague of death came to take the life of the firstborn of Egypt, did it come to the Israelites? ---No! WHY? Because God gave a protection and instruction of applying the blood to each household. They obeyed and were spared. This was done under the old covenant. We have a much better covenant through the blood of Jesus. It is more than sufficient!
Heb. 12:24 "...to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel."
Heb. 13:20,21 " Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete ( complete to get a deadly plague?! I don't think so!) in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing (healing and wholeness and protection from all plagues) in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen!
I put in parenthesis some things to consider in relation to what is happening now in our world to allow you to really think how these scriptures can affect your thinking at this time.
Choices to make and believe:
1. Psalms 91:1 Choose to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Can corona virus come into such a place?! NO!
2. Verse 2. Choose our place of safety. He's our refuge and fortress, our place of safety and deliverance. Can the plague come there?! NO!
3.How strong and powerful is our God? Can the plan of the enemy come there?! NO! We choose to believe God delivers us from the plan of the enemy and no device (corona virus-NOTHING! can come to us! He's our Deliverer!)
4. Verse 4. God wants us to come to His covering, trust it, abide there, not in one day and out the next. Believe His truth. He is the God who heals us. Ex. 15:26, Ps. 103:3, Is. 53:5, I Pet.2:24
5. Verse 5. Terror (pestilence, destruction), may be all around us at any time, BUT we shall not be afraid
6. Verses 7-8. Others may fall prey to these things ( pestilence, destruction), But it shall not come near us! What said it won't? Who's word is this? Do we believe the fake news who have their agendas and not choose to believe the truth of what GOD SAYS?! We may see these things around us but it doesn't have to come to us if we'll give it no place to enter by fear and unbelief of what God says . We must not choose to believe the report of the world. Believe God's report!
7. Verses, 9-10. If we make the Lord our refuge and the Most High our dwelling place, no evil shall befall us or plague come near our dwelling. Do we really BELIEVE this and TRUST in it or do we judge by the sight of our eyes and the hearing of our ears according to what the world says?! Is. 11:3
How can we trust this? By believing God said it and He's not a man that He should lie. Num. 23:19. In Psalms 91:11, He said that He gives His angels charge over us to protect us and keep us in ALL our ways. Bad things may come (Verses 12-13) but we have protection over ALL.
8. Verses 14-15. God says because we set our love on Him, He will DELIVER us and set us up on high when we know His name (ALL that HE IS). We can call to Him and He'll answer. He'll be with us in trouble, deliver us and honor us and even bless us with long life and His complete salvation.
Deut. 4:29-31 tells us " But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him IF you seek Him with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul. When you are in distress and all these things come upon you in the latter days ( days we're in right now), when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice, (for the Lord your God is a merciful God). WHAT is the World trying to say about God --"How can a loving God allow this virus?!"
There is a shaking going on in the world today to see what things will be shaken or removed and what things will remain. Heb. 12:26,27
God desires 1st place in our hearts and wants us to know HIM ----what He thinks, feels and says about everything. We've been too busy listening to other, the world, the media, even ourselves to really hear what He's saying. Sometimes things have to shake to wake us up. He promises that His Kingdom ( Heb. 12:28) CANNOT be shaken. Our kingdoms must fall so that His is the only one left in our lives.
Is He really a BIG GOD to us? What is MAGNIFIED right now in your life? The news report? The terror of this plague?
I have never seen fear that has attacked people like this in my lifetime. It has grieved me to see the body of Christ just bow down and receive the verdict and report of this world ABOVE WHO GOD IS.
Fear tried to come against me a few times. I realized it was not so much of the virus but of the confinement. Having someone tell me where I could go and when I could go was scary at times. It really made me appreciate the freedoms that we have enjoyed in our country and made me desire for people to see the truth about socialism that is trying to get a hold on our country. Wake up Beloved! We do not want this to happen. Pray! Pray! Pray!
I found that when I prayed in the Spirit and kept my focus on what God was saying in His Word, I was at peace but if I listened to other voices, it made panic and fear try to come. God has given us protection if we'll choose to believe it. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I (Jesus), give you AUTHORITY to trample on serpents and scorpions---(demonic attacks), and over ALL the power of the enemy, and NOTHING shall by any means hurt you." Do you believe this?! WE can speak death to the corona virus rendering it ineffective in it's maneuvers. Plead the blood of Jesus against it. Command it to bow to the NAME OF JESUS! Phil. 2:10 says that every knee will bow in heaven, on earth and under the earth to the name of Jesus. This is Victory!
As I have seen fear operating in the lives of believers, it has grieved me. Jesus said He gives us peace, not as the world gives, but His peace--- the peace that passes understanding. If we are in fear, we need to examine why. Whose voice are we listening to? Whose voice is TRUTH?
The Lord says that He's going to turn what the enemy has meant for evil to be for our good. He wants us to wake up. See things for what they really are. See them through His eyes. He wants up to wake up, seek Him with all our hearts, and trust Him.
An awakening is here. Lives will forever be changed. Lies and deceptions will be seen for what they really are. Wickedness and corruption will be exposed and dealt with. The Lord of Hosts will fight this battle for us! He will totally eradicate this virus. There will be mighty outpourings of His Spirit, His healing and His awesome provision. Angels will speedily bring what is needed--protection, strength, healing and provision.
Our God is a GOOD GOD! His goodness is shining and will bring men to repentance. HALLELUJAH!!!
WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM WHO LOVES US!. Rom. 8:37
HE ALWAYS CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH THROUGH HIM and MAKES US TO BE A SWEET SMELLING SAVOR OF HIM IN EVERY PLACE. II Cor. 2:14
I John 5:4 says. " For whatever is born of God overcomes the World. And this is the victory that has overcome the world---our faith."
Beloved, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid!
Our God is bigger than any of this! He's already conquered death, hell and the grave. He is victorious no matter the circumstances. We must believe His report!! Amen! Hallelujah! To God belongs all the power, the Glory and the praise and honor! AMEN and AMEN!!!!
